I have searched throughout my life, for a connection to the Creator.....to God.  I was not able to find one in the "conventional" religions, and I mean no disrespect to the many which are out there.  Before the Europeans......before the White Man came to these lands, and to these people, they already knew about the Creator.....or God.  The way in which they believe, in which they pray.......and the things associated with them, have shown me that this is a good path......that this is a good way to live my life...and that it is very powerful, and very real.  I am truly fortunate, as a white man, to be a part of this.......that it has been shared with me, and shown to me.....The neccessity to Pray every day.....to treat every day as if it were Sunday and to hold each day Sacred....not just one day a week....but each and every day.  Every morning when we awake, we should say Aho to the Creator for another day.....we should ask for guidance....and that we may help our fellow human beings, for we are all brothers.....we are all related.  Some Native Americans do not agree with allowing non-Natives to participate in these Sacred Cereimonies, or to learn about the ways, and that is truly a sad thing.......
     If more people knew about these ways, there would be  more harmony in the World, more peace.....Because it is the only way.  I share my story of this one particular dance, and my thoughts, so that maybe someone else may be inclined to look at this path.....the Sun Dance path.......for Salvation, and guidance, and protection as I have.  One cannot really put down to paper the words to describe it in full detail, for there are no words which can.....
     I share my story with hope that perhaps it will touch your Heart....and that you will feel His energy, His presence.....that you will feel the "rush" that I have felt as it passes through my body when I pray.
